Do I want to bring a radio with me during my drive to Massachussets?
@dc7ia It's kind of interesting. The fact that the computer can sit and make contacts without me being there makes FT8 unappealing to me.
The technology is cool, though.

Radio plans for the weekend include finishing my 17-20-30-40 linked inverted vee (it's tuned on 17 and 20 so far, 30 is still a little high), and then building the QRPGuys 20-30-40 portable vertical to use with my MTR3b in the Cookie Crumble QRP Contest on 10th June. (For those who are close enough, I'll also be using CC to do an activation for POTA and KFF).
